个人简介
A core aspect of our work concerns the study of the brain at the molecular level, by investigating a post-transcriptional enzymatic process known in research as “RNA editing”. RNA splicing is another mechanism that increases functional diversity of gene products. We believe that the identification of pathogenic molecular and cellular mechanisms in epilepsy and brain tumor disease facilitates the development of genuine therapies that tackle these diseases at the root.
