Jinyoung Moon

Professor Jinyoung Moon joined the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the Inha University Hospital as a clinical fellow. He got his MD degree from the College of Medicine of Korea University. He completed his residency training in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Seoul Saint Mary’s Hospital. He got his PhD degree in environmental health science from the Graduate School of Public Health of Seoul National University. He also got an MBA degree in international finance and MSc and BSc degrees in applied statistics. Professor Moon's research interests include environmental medicine, occupational medicine, applied statistics in public health, and economic evaluation in occupational and environmental health programs. In addition to the role as a clinical fellow, Professor Moon was appointed as the occupational health physician of the Incheon International Airport Corporation, caring for about 1800 employees in the public enterprise. He was also appointed as the team leader of the investigation and analysis team of the Occupational Disease Surveillance Center, Central Region of South Korea. His main role is investigating workplaces where a serious occupational disaster has occurred. He also participates in the occupational disease assessment committee of Seoul as a judge. As of 01 June 2023, he was elected as a councilor of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology Asian-Western Pacific Chapter. The term is 3 years.
