Jes B. Sherman

Jessica B. Sherman received the B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, USA, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, CA, USA, in 2014. She is a Senior Test Engineer at Freedom Photonics, Santa Barbara, CA, USA, with responsibilities including photonic device testing and materials characterization. She also provides technical support regarding various chemistry issues that arise in R&D and manufacturing. Besides several years of experience in photonic device test, she has ten years of experience in materials chemistry, including seven years in electronic device fabrication and testing. Her Ph.D. and postdoctoral research focused on the formulation and characterization of functional blends of organic semiconductors.
