Jean Huge

I am a conservation scientist studying human-nature interactions, with a strong interest in collaborative environmental governance, social-ecological systems, biodiversity conservation effectiveness and human-wildlife conflicts. My focus systems are coastal areas (mangroves in particular) and protected areas (PAs). My current research focuses the effect of plural biodiversity discourses on conservation decisions; on sustainability assessments; and on human-wildlife conflict and co-existence.
