Bio

Javier Goicoechea received his MS degree in electrical engineering and the PhD degree in 2003 and 2008 respectively from the Public University of Navarra (UPNA), Pamplona, Spain. In 2004 he obtained a predoctoral scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Science. In 2011 he became lecturer at the Public University of Navarra and an Associate Editor of the Optical Engineering - Journal (SPIE) since 2013. His research interest includes optical fiber sensors, nanoparticles and thin films. He has authored more than 22 scientific international publications and 4 book chapters (international edition).
