Jason C. Quinn received the master’s degree in nuclear engineering and engineering physics with the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Madison, WI, USA, and the Ph.D. degree from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, USA. His current research interests include system evaluation of electric transportation, spider silk, microalgae biofuels, fission power systems, development of engineering system models validated through experimentation and leveraged for technoeconomic feasibility, life cycle assessment, and resource demand of emerging technologies, and development efforts to high impact areas.
