Associate Professor Ji is an internationally leading research scientist in the general areas of dynamics, vibration analysis, vibration and noise control, fault diagnosis, and fatigue analysis. He has published over 100 journal papers in highly-respected SCI international journals in his research areas, including over 50 papers in JCR Q1 journals. He has been involved in a wide range of research projects in the fields of dynamic modelling, vibration analysis, vibration control, fatigue analysis, stability analysis, FEM analysis, and cooperative control of multi-agent systems. His research has been well supported by various funding agencies and industries. His research has solved many challengeable engineering problems and brought significant economic benefits to the relevant industry partners.
