Isabelle Duroux-Richard

Isabelle Duroux-Richard is a Research Engineer at INSERM working since 2007 in the group of the Pr Jorgensen on identifying novel targets for anti-inflammatory immunotherapy in RA and developped a novel project based on miRNAs as new class of regulatory genes. She has initiated and developed the project to identify miRNAs abnormally expressed in RA and to determine their role in RA pathogenesis, with a specific focus on monocyte subsets. She has a long lasting experience in studying the regulation of gene expression by antisense oligonucleotides, skills acquired in the department of Professor C.Helene (INSERM U201, Paris). She is a molecular biologist with more than 10 years of experience in the study of miRNAs. She has published 31 articles and scientific journals, 13 of which are first or last authors (4 with IF>10). She is co-inventor of 3 patents, including 2 patents on the use of miRNAs as biomarkers in the response to rituximab.antisense.
