Inigo Bretos

My research interests encompass materials science and technology, with a focus on the chemical solution deposition of metal oxide thin films (ferro-piezoelectrics, dielectrics, multiferroics or superconductors) for applications ranging from memory devices, sensors and transducers to photovoltaics and electronic skin. Over the years, my research career has evolved from the area of microelectronics to the appealing field of flexible electronics. This fact motivated the development of my main research line: the low-temperature processing of functional oxide thin films by advanced solution methods.
