Hyun-Kyu Jeon

Hyun-Kyu Jeon (M’08) received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea, in 1994, the M.S. degree, and Ph. D. degree in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea in 1997, and 2012, respectively. He was a research engineer at LG Semiconductor, Cheongju, South Korea, during 1997–2000, where he was involved in the design of the advanced DRAM and micro-controller products. Since he joined Silicon Works Company, Ltd., Daejeon, in 2003, he researched and developed the timing controller and the column/row driver for the a-Si TFT-LCD as well as the high-speed interface technology related to LCDs. His research interests include high-speed and low-power mixed-mode integrated circuit design and the flat-panel display (FPD) chipset. Mr. Jeon is a member of the Society of Information Display.
