Hongyu Miao received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering and the M.S. degree in biostatistics from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science, University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, TX, USA. His current research interests include mathematical modeling, time series, graphical model, machine learning, electronic health records, neuroimaging, omics, and biomedical applications.
