I am a broadly trained igneous petrologist/volcanologist interested in the geochemical and physical evolution of continental magmatic systems in subduction zones at a variety of temporal and spatial scales. -Large silicic ignimbrite deposits in Dominica -Compositional variability in phenocrysts as evidence for magmatic processes -Weathering of volcanic rocks in Oregon and their effect on soil and water chemistry -The chemical and chronological evolution of volcanic fields in western Mexico
