Hemant Sawnani currently works at the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Hemant does research in Sleep Medicine and Pulmonology with a focus on Pediatric Neuromuscular disease. He collaborates extensively within the fields of Duchenne and Congenital Muscular Dystrophies. Other academic interests include thoracic dystrophy related to neuromuscular disease, pulmonary management of children with neuromuscular diseases including spinal cord injury, invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
