Bio
Guglielmo d'Inzeo (M'83) was born in Milan, Italy, in 1952. He received the degree in electronic engineer from the University of Rome, Italy, in 1975.
In 1976, he joined the Department of Electronics at the same University with a fellowship from the National Research Council (CNR). From the 1979 to 1985, he was “Professore Incaricato” at the University of Calabria (1979–1981) and at the University of Ancona (1980–1985). From 1986 to 1990, was Associate Professor of “Microwaves Measurements” at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, where he became Full Professor of “Bioelectromagnetic Interaction” in 1990. From 1997 to 2006, he acted as Chair of the Department of Ectronic Engineering, University of Rome La Sapienza. His research interests include active and passive microwave components and bioelectromagnetics. He served as a Secretary Treasurer of the Middle and Southern Section of the IEEE MTT Society from 1986 to 1988, From 1998 to 2004, he was the Director of the Italian Inter-University Center for Electromagnetic Fields and Biosystems. He was the President of the European Bioelectromagnetics Association from 1993 to 1998. From 2008 to 2011, he was President of URSI Commission K “Electromagnetism in Biology and Medicine.”
