My focus has straddled both theoretical and experimental domains; theoretically, I have developed numerical and analytical models for extracting entanglement for use as a resource in many body quantum systems; experimentally, I am investigating hybrid quantum systems for use as a networked quantum information processing.

I have experience working within the Ministry of Defence, and at the BAE Systems Applied Intelligence Laboratories. With the MoD, I improved the technical capability for multiple internal partners, working on projects for national security, and provided highly bespoke backend software for embedded systems using Python, C++ and x86 Assembly, and FPGAs using VHDL and VERILOG. At BAE Systems, I provided capabilities in hardware and software design for applications in tracking and navigation, RF communication systems, and control and embedded systems. I successfully delivered an award-winning navigation and tracking project with backend development in Python, C++, Java. I also made a critical contribution procuring six-figure public sector investment for future mission capabilities.

Prior to this, I completed a five year Electronics and Communication Systems Engineering MEng, with a year in industry. I tailored my degree primarily towards HF/microwave engineering and embedded systems design, and contributed to several active avenues of research. I graduated at the top of my class, and was awarded the Rohde and Schwartz prize for Outstanding Research for my Master's project. I was also awarded a scholarship from the United Kingdom Electronic Skills Foundation (UKESF).
