Federico Cassola

Federico Cassola graduated in physics from the University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy, in 2004. He received the Ph.D. degree in geophysics from the University of Genoa; the University of Turin, Turin, Italy; and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Modena, Italy, in 2009. From 2009 to 2015, he was a Research Assistant with the Department of Physics, University of Genoa. In 2012, he was a Co-Founder of the academic spin-off PM_TEN, Genoa. Since January 2016, he has been working as a Meteorologist with the Ligurian Environmental Protection Agency (ARPAL), Genoa. His research interests include mesoscale meteorological modeling, severe convection, renewable energy, atmospheric aerosols, and air quality.
