Farooq Faisal

Farooq Faisal was born in Buner, Pakistan, in 1993. He received the B.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2016, and the M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, in 2019. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the University of Quebec, Canada. His current research interests include implantable antennas and devices, wireless power transfer, millimeter wave antennas, wearable antennas for remote underground mine monitoring systems, frequency selective surfaces, EBGs, and portable microwave hybrid imaging-based scanners.
