Fabio Sgarbossa

Fabio Sgarbossa received the M.S. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Padua, Padua, Italy, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in mechatronics and industrial systems. He is currently with the Department of Management and Engineering, University of Padua and also collaborates with the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Rutgers University, Piscataway, NJ. He has been involved in several researches projects in the areas of advanced technologies in productive environment and improving the use of radio frequency identification devices from material handling to maintenance, and from productive system management to distribution systems. He is the author and coauthor of more than 40 papers on international journals and conferences. His current research interests include maintenance modeling, and system reliability assessment and improvement. Dr. Sgarbossa is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
