Fiza Rashid-Doubell is currently employed at RCSI-Bahrain in the School of Medicine. There she works on breast cancer exploring the effects of novel metal derivatives of curcumin on localisation, invasion, migration and proliferation in cell lines. She also conducts community based research in diabetes monitoring the amount of physical activity done in patients with and without type 2 diabetes mellitus. She has also established herself in the field of international Medical Education working on a number of unique projects including the exploration of the transition process of medical students in transnational higher education using a phenomenological framework.
