Hydrogeologist with a long term experience in water resources management, numerical modelling of ground water flow and geochemical characterization at the regional scale. After obtaining her PhD in hydrogeology at the Rome University, including one year as Marie Curie fellow at the Ecole des Mines of Paris (ENSMP) in Fontainebleau, she has been employed as researcher at the ENSMP in 1997-1998, at the Tiber river basin National Authority in 2000-2001 and since 2001 she is researcher in IRSA-CNR. Member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) since 1994.
