Bio

Ed Eloranta received a B.S. in Physics, in 1965, a M.S in Meteorology in 1967 and a PhD in Meteorology in 1972, all degrees were from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Senior Scientist at the University of Wisconsin where he has designed, constructed and applied advanced lidars for atmospheric measurement. He is a fellow of the American Meteorological Society and a fellow of the Optical Society of America.
