Edward Wenger leads the Scientific Engineering, Architecture & Technology Accelerator, which sets a consistent technology vision for the Institute for Disease Modeling (IDM), translates scientific requirements into modeling architecture, spurs uptake of new methodological approaches, and explores new scientific directions.
Edward also leads IDM’s Discovery, Products and Surveillance program, which supports upstream decisions on product development, surveillance design, and tool evaluation, with modeling across a range of programs in the Gates Foundation’s Global Health and Gender Equality divisions.
