Current research interests: coarse sediment transport, coastal morphodynamics, dune vulnerability. Currently my team is committed to short-to-medium term coarse sediment tracing experiments at three different sites: the public beach at Nice (France), Barjoska beach at Vis Island (Croatia), and at Marina di Pisa (Italy). We are working on digital grain size analysis at those sites. We are also trying to improve a coastal dune vulnerability index as a support to coastal management.
