Duanwen Shen

My research interests focus on revealing the mechanisms by which retinal degeneration, cancer metastasis and other diseases development and therapy using molecular cell biology, biochemistry and genetics methods including: optical imaging, gene point mutation, and high-throughput screening, etc. Furthermore, we are applying the novel probes (LS301, etc.) in translational studies such as image-guided surgery.
