I'm an Associate Research Professor at the Department of Geographical Sciences, University of Maryland, College Park. My primary interests include mapping wildfires in the boreal and tundra regions using various remote sensing-based methods and evaluating their climatic, ecological and societal impacts. I am serving as the Principal Lead of NASA ABoVE Disturbance Working Group starting in January 2023.
