Robert Dermot Neely

Robert Dermot Neely is former Director of the Lipid Clinic and and founder of the Newcastle SAS Cardiovascular Biomarkers Laboratory-Regional Assay Services Cardiovascular Biomarkers Laboratory in the Department of Blood Sciences, Integrated Laboratory Medicine Directorate at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Now retired from clinical practice, Robert is a Specialist Advisor with the Academic Health Science Network for North East and North Cumbria and he remains involved in clinical and laboratory research in lipids, lipoproteins and in vitro diagnostics.
