I am a member of academic staff at Queen's University Belfast, where my research examines the flows, couplings and transport mechanisms that allow waves to traverse vast distances in the Sun's turbulent atmosphere. I am also interested in small-scale impulsive nanoflare events, and in particular, the statistical signatures of these when they exist close to the noise threshold of modern imaging detectors. I also design, build, and commission novel instrumentation for solar physics research.
