David is a Research Fellow in the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. In March 2015 he started as post doctoral researcher after his PhD from Sept. 2011 to Feb.2015. David's research areas are Human-Computer Interaction, and Human-Robot Interaction. His post is currently funded by three EPSRC/UKRI projects investigating expert laser aligners' thinking and strategies (DeMILO), trust in autonomous systems (@tas_trust), and human-machine teaming for AUVs (HUME).
