My lab studies the molecular basis of plant-pathogen interactions, with a current focus on the Maize - Grey Leaf Spot pathosystem. I lead the Molecular Plant-Pathogen Interactions (MPPI) research group in the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute (FABI) at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. My research is also affiliated with the Genomics Research Institute at the University of Pretoria.
