Chunjin Wang received the bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees from Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He joined the State Key Laboratory of Ultra-Precision Machining Technology, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Hong Kong, as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in 2015 and then a Research Fellow in 2018. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor with the Department of ISE, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has authored and coauthored more than 30 refereed journal articles and some of them were published in top tier SCI journals, including International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture, Journal of Materials Processing Technology, and International Journal of Mechanical Sciences. His research focuses on ultraprecision polishing technology, ultraprecision machining equipment and instrumentation, and advanced optics manufacturing. Dr. Wang received several research awards, including the Best Paper Award of the 14th China-Japan International Conference on Ultra-Precision Machining Process (CJUMP) in 2018 and the Young Researcher Award of the Asian Society of Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology (ASPEN) in 2019.
