Christopher Gilliam (Member, IEEE) received the degree (Hons.) from Imperial College London, U.K., the M.Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering in 2013. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with Image and Video Processing Group, Department of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently a Research Fellow with the School of Engineering, RMIT University, Australia. His research interests include sampling theory and its application in image processing in particular image-based rendering, sparse sampling involving signals with finite rate of innovation, motion estimation and registration for image sequences, in particular biological and medical imaging, and sensor management.
