Christophe Botella

I use statistical models and machine learning methods along with heterogeneous biodiversity data to measure and anticipate the effects of human pressure on ecosystems, in particular plant invasions, to inform conservation planning. I develop methods to exploit the information hidden in massive crowdsourcing datasets. I currently work at Stellenbosch University to assess the potential of iNaturalist data for plant invasion science. Find out more on www.christophebotella.fr
