Bio
I am a highly curious, tenacious, and versatile research and development scientist. My specialty is using multi-spectral information in satellite imagery to reveal information beyond just the simple picture. I've developed spectro-image algorithms and machine learning techniques to solve various cutting-edge problems in both geospatial/remote sensing and astronomical realms. My many years of work with both commercial imaging satellites and scientific space telescopes (including Hubble) have given me a detailed understanding of spacecraft ConOps and imaging and spectroscopic sensor capabilities and limitations and this has informed many of my inventions. I was lead developer or a principle collaborator on six different remote sensing technologies using high-resolution, multispectral imagery and have authored over a dozen scientific papers.
