Carlos Fonck

Scientist leader responsible for managing functional and program teams through drug discovery and non-clinical development. Direct contributor to successful program milestones including candidate nomination as well as IND, CTA, BLA and MAA submissions. Experienced in cell and gene therapies, biologics and small molecules in support of rare disease, oncology, neurology, psychiatric, ocular, infection and hematology indications. Core areas of expertise include pharmacology, molecular biology, toxicology and neuroscience. Currently leading a team of scientists responsible for the non-clinical development of AAV-based gene therapies.
