Charles J. Naudet

Charles J. Naudet Jr. received his Ph.D. degree in physics from Rice University, Houston, TX in 1986. From 1986 to 1993, he was with the Nuclear Science Division at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory serving first as a Postdoctoral research assistant then as a member of the research staff studying dilepton production in nucleus-nucleus interactions. In 1993, he joined the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a member of the technical staff studying astrometric measurements of quasars and spacecraft. In 1999, he became a member of the senior staff and since 2003 he has been the supervisor of the Deep Space Tracking Systems group. Over the last 30 years he has been PI and Co-I of numerous research efforts presently his science focus is on pulsar and fast radio bursts and his engineering interests is Cislunar spacecraft detection and tracking.
