My daily practice is focused on pathologic diagnosis of genitourinary neoplastic diseases, including prostate, urinary bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers. I evaluate a large number of biopsies and surgical specimens from patients who are treated at MD Anderson. I also review a variety of complex GU cases from patients who come to MD Anderson for treatment with their pathology materials from all over the world. In addition, I frequently provide expert opinions on challenging GU consultation cases. Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience as well as developed leading-edge skills in GU pathology services, while working closely with my clinical colleagues to help optimizing treatment plans and predicting clinical outcomes in personalized medicine. I have published over 100 manuscripts and book chapters related to GU pathology, and I have been invited to give lectures at national and international meetings.
