Chiara Bustreo

Chiara Bustreo received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Padua, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. Her current research interests include energy policies, energy scenarios, power system modeling, the economic and technological perspectives of energy technologies, system codes for fusion power plant modeling and costs assessment, and the new concepts of fission-fusion hybrid power plants. Her current research activities aim at assessing the role of nuclear fusion in future global, European and Italian energy systems. Since 2016, she has been leading the EUROfusion Workpackage on socio economic studies on fusion.
