Twenty plus years of postgraduate experience, including 15+ years of small molecule drug discovery experience across a large span of therapeutic areas
• Highly motivated individual, able to multitask on several projects, and committed to meeting deadlines

• Extensive experience in Ion Channel and GPCR biochemistry and pharmacology. Generated and characterized stable cell lines, and developed cell-based assays including fluorescent, radioligand binding, and automated and manual electrophysiology assays. Extensive experience with one project involving protein-protein interactions. Some experience with enzyme targets and their biochemical assays

• Served as biology representative on an ‘Early Development Team’ at Merck, tasked with overseeing the early clinical development of a compound targeted to treat neuropathic pain
• Presented invited lectures at several international conferences. Authored and co-authored 60+ peer-reviewed publications. Serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals
