As a surgeon, he is honored to participate in the care of women with breast cancer and breast health issues. He works in close collaboration with his patients to help them select from the best evidence-based approaches.

He has published over 250 articles and lectured in over 30 countries. Dr. Anderson serves on the Board of Directors of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), the oldest international professional organization addressing global cancer control. He also serves as advisor to the World Health Organization for cancer-related issues.
