B. Weber

Bruce V. Weber was born in Los Angeles, CA, USA. He received the B.S. degree in physics from the Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, CA, in 1976, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics, specializing in experimental plasma physics, from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, in 1978 and 1982, respectively. From 1983 to 1988, he was a Research Physicist with JAYCOR, Vienna, VA, USA, and the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, DC, USA, working on the plasma physics of opening switches, pulsed power, and intense electron and ion beams. In 1989, he joined the Pulsed Power Physics Branch, Plasma Physics Division, NRL, where he is currently the Head of the Plasma and Beam Experiments Section. His interests include plasma opening switches, electron, ion- and plasma-filled diodes, and advanced pulsed power development.
