His research work has been highly acclaimed in India and abroad for which he has been honoured with several prestigious awards such as the Best Young Scientist Award conferred by Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Indian Science Congress Association’s (ISCA) Young Scientist Award, MP Young Scientist Award, KI Memorial Award for Promotion of Medical Research in Japan, Samantha Chandrasekhar Award from Orissa Bigyan Academy, Technology Achievement Award by EET CRS, to name a few. In 2017, Dr. Das was conferred the 100 Most Impactful Healthcare Leaders Award listed globally.
