Nicholas, A.

Austin Nicholas received a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011 and an S.M. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013. He currently works for JPL in the Engineering Operations for Space Missions group. For many years, he worked on mission architecture and vehicle concepts for Mars Sample Return, including the Earth Return Orbiter, Mars Ascent Vehicle, Sample Return Lander, and Sample Fetch Rover. He currently works as a Spacecraft Systems and GNC engineer for the Psyche mission focusing on operations involving the electric propulsion system and angular momentum management.
