Aswathy Vijaya Krishna

Aswathy Vijaya Krishna was born in Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala, India, in June 1990. She received the M.Sc. degree in marine biology from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, India, in 2013. She started her career as a Scientist at Space Applications Centre (ISRO), Ahmedabad, India, in March 2017. She was a Junior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Oceanography from November 2013 to January 2017, where she worked on Villorita cyprinoides (black clam). Her research interests include biological oceanography, especially the improvisation of in situ analyses of bio-optical parameters and its implications on ocean color remote sensing.
