Currently, I am serving as an Associate Professor of Psychology & Contemplative Studies at Sri Sri University. Before this, during more than 8 years, I had served at different colleges at Delhi University (i.e. Zakir Husain College, IP College for Women, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Swami Shraddhanand College), MG International Hindi University, and at several reputed private universities (i.e. Galgotias University, Amity University and Mody University of Science and Technology). I earned a Ph.D. degree in Psychology from Delhi University in 2011 and qualified UGC NET & JRF test in 2004. I acquired BA and MA degrees from Lucknow University. My schooling had been from the CBSE board. I have contributed more than 30 publications including research papers, book chapters, magazine articles, monograph, and a survey indexed by American Psychological Association. I have also completed a minor research project and received a major research project funded by ICSSR. To further expand and disseminate research ideas, I delivered 22 presentations at national and international forums, organized a national seminar, supervised 7 MPhil theses, conducted counseling workshops for youths, given motivational talks, and attended several deliberations as a consultant and invited speaker at several national agencies. In 2018, I received the best Yoga Psychology publication award. I have received training in teaching and research in psychology through 7 Faculty development programs. I have presented more than 21 research papers in different national-international seminars. I love to teach Yoga Psychology, Personality Psychology, Industrial Psychology, and several other applied psychology courses through online and offline mode. I have also facilitated several administrative roles, academic accreditation, and the development of syllabus of Diploma and PG in Yoga & health, M.A. in Psychology, M. Phil in Psychology, and extension activities for community outreach and student empowerment.
