Anna Soter

I conduct research in the field of low energy precision particle physics, which involves experiments using exotic atoms and antimatter. This work is carried out in particle physics facilities in Switzerland (PSI and CERN) which gives us access to these exotic particles which we investigate with methods from precision atomic physics, like laser spectroscopy and interferometry. In my present position as a tenure track assistant professor at ETHZ I lead the Fundamental Interaction Group in the Department of Physics, with 5 PhD students and 1 Post-Doc as members (2022 January). I am spokesperson to the newly founded LEMING experiment, and one of the leading PIs of the PIONEER experiment at PSI. I am contributing PI to the BASE experiment at CERN, moreover the HyperMu and Mu-Mass experiments at PSI.
