Dr. Urquhart has received numerous teaching awards for his efforts at educating the future Orthopaedic surgeons in improving their ability to reliably provide a good implant to their patients. His research interest has mirrored this, exploring many areas including computer assisted surgery, volume associated surgical outcomes and digital planning to evaluate and improve inter- and intra- surgeon variability.
