Bio
My research is focussed on novel systems for the secure expression of plant-derived high value products:
* Synthesis of polyesters in plastids by bacterial operon (Lossl et al. 2003).
* inducible expression system for plastid-harbored transgenes (Lossl et al. 2005).
* Vaccines for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) in plastids (Waheed et al. 2010, 2011a, Hassan et al. 2014).
* Adjuvant fused proteins (Lossl and Waheed 2011, Waheed et al 2012).
* Novel cloning system (Gottschamel et al. 2013, 2015)
