Andrea Hanson

Andrea Hanson earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Colorado, and B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of North Dakota. She is a System Engineering in the Human Systems Engineering & Integration Division at the Johnson Space Center. She supports the Human Research Program's Exploration Medical Capability Element System Engineering Team. Her career started at JSC as the Exercise Countermeasures Operations Specialist. She has served as the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on a number on ground and flight research studies targeting optimization of human spaceflight performance.
