Amitava Adhikary currently works at the Department of Chemistry , Oakland University. Amitava does research in Supramolecular Chemistry, Spectroscopy and Physical Chemistry. He is a radiation Chemist. He is associate editor of (a) Radiation Research (Published by Radiation Research Society) and of (b) Radiation Physics and Chemistry (published by Elsevier). He is also Review Editor in Frontier Journal of Chemistry. Since October, 2017, Amitava is the Councilor (Chemistry) of Radiation Research Society and he received Marie Curie Award for his research work from Radiation Research Society in 2007. He will be organizing the 16th International Workshop on Radiation Damage to DNA in 2020 at OU.
