Amanda Perry

I am a Senior Lecturer working in the Mental Health and Addictions Research Team at the University of York. I am interested in the mental health of people involved in the criminal justice system and in the application of psychological interventions to help support mental health and well-being. I am a systematic review methodologist and work to produce reviews for the Cochrane Collaboration. I am working on a peer-led project in the local prisons and internationally to support the use of problem-solving skills for people whilst in custody and upon release. My particular areas of interest include suicide and self-harm behaviour.
